ACE Holds AGMS 2023 & EGMS 2024
Various matters were stated, from the company's performance to future strategic plans.
PT ACE Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES or Company) on 7 June 2024 held Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for financial year 2023 in Kawan Lama Building, West Jakarta, followed by Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) for financial year 2024.
AGMS agreed to distribute dividend to shareholders in the amount of 75% from the total net profit for financial year 2023, while the rest of Company’s net profit after dividend distribution will be booked as retained profit. Each of ACES shareholders whose names are listed in the List of Company Shareholders on 21 June 2024 until 4.15 PM will get a dividend of IDR 33.5 per share and become the biggest dividend the Company ever distributed to the public. The dividend would be distributed regarding the following timeline:

The cash dividend distribution is aligned with the Company’s performance which grew marvelously in 2023, resulting in a dividend amount of nearly IDR 574 billions. The Company successfully booked positive financial and operational performance through various strategic initiatives that lead to various awards, such as crowned as the best managed company in Indonesia for the second time from Deloitte, service quality award for 13 times consecutively from Marketing Magazine, and became the most recommended brand for home improvement and lifestyle in Indonesia from MarkPlus, Inc.
The Company’s President Director, Prabowo Widya Krisnadi said, “The determination of cash dividend ratio is a token of our commitment to bring a better value to our shareholders regarding your trust so far. We are grateful of all sustainable support from all stakeholders in our every strategic business development plan. We are optimistic that in 2024, we can keep giving our best performance through various strategic plans we’ve determined.”
AGMS also approved Financial Report and validated Consolidated the company’s Financial Report for financial year ended on 31 December 2023, the determination of net value use for financial year ended on 31 December 2023, the appointment of Public Accountant and Public Accountant Office for financial year 2024 and Honorarium Determination, also other requirements relating the appointment, and the determination of Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners' Remunerations.
Besides AGMS, the Company also announced a strategic plan for the future, which was change the company’s name to PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk in the EGMS. The name change is expected to reflect a more comprehensive Company role, more than just selling home improvement products, moreover, becoming the source of aspirations and inspirations for a better life.
Being present in Indonesia since 1995, the Company continuously grows fast and becomes the main retail destination for home improvement and lifestyle needs. Being consistent to get closer to customers and strengthen its service, in 2023, the Company had opened 13 stores and expanded the market to various new cities, which were Tarakan, Singkawang, Purwakarta, Bontang, Cilacap, and Metro. While in 2024, the Company expanded its service in Banyuwangi and Garut, also opened 5 new stores. Recently, the Company’s store network consists of 236 stores spread over 69 cities in Indonesia.
The Company also has done unification of ACE Rewards Members with Kawan Lama Group retail brands, becoming ruparupa rewards that was officially launched in November 2023. The unification program, which was in cooperation with ruparupa as the trusted omni-channel solution from Kawan Lama Group, aimed to bring more benefits and give easier and more comfortable shopping experience. In the future, the Company is committed to keep strengthening operational excellence in all business aspects, including optimally improving the quality of product and service, and also strategically expand to be able to excellently and competitively compete in line with sustainable principles.
