Kawan Lama Group has been actively supporting the government in achieving herd immunity nationally. As of August 2021, Kawan Lama Group has carried out over 25 vaccination activities in various cities with a total of 286,000 vaccine recipients. The latest one was carried out in collaboration with Kodim 0506 Tangerang, at the Alam Sutera Living World Mall - The Biggest Home Living, Lifestyle, and Eat-tertainment Center on August 23-31, 2021 at 8-12 AM.
The total target recipients of the vaccine this time, both the first and second doses, are 6,200 participants of age 12 and above, with an allocation of 600 participants per day on Monday-Friday and 1,000 participants per day on Saturday and Sunday. As an initiative to avoid queues, participants are encouraged to register in advance via the link that can be found on the Alam Sutera Living World social media account.
Tangerang Vice Mayor, Mr. Pilar Saga Ichsan made a visit to the vaccination venue on August 25. "I appreciate Kawan Lama Group, Alam Sutera Living World, and Kodim 0506 Tangerang for holding the vaccination activity in an orderly manner," he said.
"The vaccination venue is spacious and has great air circulation. We hope this will be exemplary for any others holding a vaccination activity. Maintaining air circulation and proper distance between recipients will reduce the possibility of Covid-19 infection, as well as encourage the public to not fear getting vaccinated."

By August 25, 33,1 million people already had their 2nd dose vaccine, 15,9% from the national target. Kawan Lama Group, including Living World, will continuously support the government in achieving herd immunity nationally and soon making Indonesia free from Covid-19."
"Alam Sutera Living World Mall itself has become one of the vaccination centers in South Tangerang since April 10, 2021. More than 9,000 vaccine doses have been given to the public. Moreover, we also encourage people to maintain strict health protocols even though they have been vaccinated," she continued.
The vaccine recipients enthusiastically followed through the whole vaccination process. Starting from arriving at the vaccination venue, queueing for data verification, health screening, receiving vaccine injection from the medical team, to the 15-minutes final observation.
"It's been an easy process since the registration was made online. Everything was smooth, the check points and the screening were all clear. Finally, I am now vaccinated," Edi Galaxcy, one of the vaccination recipients said.
